Katy's Driver's License located at George Bush Drive has permanently Closed:

The Texas Department of Public Safety is permanently closing
its driver license office at 6202 George Bush Drive in Katy  as the
agency seeks another location in the area.

However, the DPS said it's still not known whether a replacement
office will be opened.

As of the closure, the nearest offices for Katy-area residents are at
 1601 Townhurst, 4545 Dacoma, 12220 South Gessner and
10503 Grant Road in Houston and 5505 Avenue N in Rosenberg,
( 281-633-5400) officials said.

I believe the closest to Kelliwood Terrace is the one located in
Rosenberg. I have  included a link to the  DPS website to find other
locations close to your work or friends.
