Our trash and recycling company at this time is WCA. We have
backdoor pick-up
for trash on Mondays and Thursday. Our recycling is on
Monday at curbside. Heavy trash is picked up either day at
curbside. Freon-appliances will be picked up only is there is a red tag stating freon is removed. Tree limbs will be removed from curbside
if they are bundled
in 4 foot sections only.
WCA employees observes 6 holidays per year. If a holiday falls on our
regular day, the trash will be picked up the following normal pick up day.
If recycling is missed, it will be picked up the next week on the regular day.

Cinco Municipal Utility District No. 3 and WCA Waste Corporation are pleased to announce a new curbside residential recycling program in your community, to be effective August 1, 2010. Prior to that initiation date, WCA will provide you with a new 48-gallon, wheeled and lidded, recycling cart. The recyclables described below may be commingled in the cart. Your garbage collection service days will remain Monday and Thursday.
YOUR RECYCLING DAY WILL REMAIN MONDAY
Please have your recycling cart at the curb no later than 7 a.m. on the recycling pickup day. The following items are currently accepted in our newly expanded recycling program:
Paper
Newspaper, Magazines, Catalogs, Junk Mail and Envelopes, Office Paper, Construction Paper, Colored Paper, Folders, Paper Bags, Phone Books, Holiday Cards and Greeting Cards
Cardboard
Corrugated Cardboard Boxes, Paperboard Boxes (cereal boxes, soda/beer boxes, shoe boxes, etc.)
Containers
Aluminum Cans, Tin Cans, Steel Cans, Glass Bottles, Glass Jars, Empty Aerosol Cans, Aluminum Foil, Plastics #1-#7 (milk, soda, water, juice, liquor, shampoo, detergent, pool supplies, pet food, etc.), Metal Pots and Pans, Copper, Scrap Metal (nails, screws, gutters, etc.)
Unacceptable Recyclable Material
PLASTIC BAGS, Styrofoam, Pizza Boxes, Coat Hangers, Paint and Solvent Containers, Light Bulbs, Mirrors, Windows, Dishes and Cups, Wet or Soiled Paper, Paper Towels, Facial and Toilet Tissue, Disposable Plates and Cups, Milk and Juice Cartons (wax-board containers), Wrapping Paper
Should you have excess recycling items, you may purchase additional carts for $48.00 each. WCA would like to thank you once again for participating in our recycling program.
